About Us
Centre for Sustainable Development Initiatives (CSDI) is a not-for-profit company, specializing in providing services targeting the development of grassroots groups.
CSDI is managed by professionals interested in community and enterprise development who are capable in providing training, consultancy services, market linkages and access, counseling, legal services, sensitization, financial intermediation and financing, facilitation and project management.
The main focus of the work of CSDI is therefore on developing sustainable, mutually beneficial linkages, systems and processes between grass-roots groups; small, medium and large scale intermediary organizations; financial and non-financial business development service providers; and the local and global market-place.
The Centre is staffed by highly trained and experienced people, with expertise in a variety of areas including rural and community development, financial analysis, micro finance, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, law, economics, engineering, agricultural economics, etc. CSDI has also established a wide network of experts who can be called upon to provide expertise in particular projects or activities whenever the need arises. The Centre and its members have close links with many local and international institutions involved in community and enterprise development.
